Tender Hearts Grief Circle is a gentle and supportive peer support circle for witnessing, processing grief, and presence. Community grief spaces help us hold, unpack, transform, and heal around grief through storytelling, embodiment, and leaning into each other.
What To Expect: The circle is facilitated by Michelle, and co-held by all of us in order to respect confidentiality, one another, and our own needs. Our circle is an invitation to show up as vulnerably and as real as possible, without pressure to share and always with the ability to pass. Our time together will include: creating an altar for our grief, heart-centered sharing & witnessing, journal based reflection time, and somatic practices for grounding and presence. We will begin and end with breathwork and/or somatic practices to hold the energetic container of the circle, helping us to enter with intention and move into the next part of our days more grounded. You are encouraged to take care before, during, and after the circle.
What To Bring: anything that helps you take care and feel more comfortable (tea, blanket, fidget toys, etc), and something to represent your grief for our altar (photo, words, candle, flower, note, recuerdo, etc)
